Why SharePoint? Why Now?
A Capital Area IT Council Special Event…
The Capital Area IT Council will be hosting an interactive informational session on Microsoft SharePoint on Monday, June 7 from 3-5pm at Capital Area Michigan Works! In Lansing.
This informational session is particularly timely considering that SharePoint 2010 Server and Office 2010 have recently been released. This session will feature a presentation by Nate Baum, SharePoint Technology Specialist for Microsoft Corporation. Nate/Microsoft will also anchor a lively panel discussion which will offer several different points of perspective--including the CIO with experience implementing SharePoint projects; the SharePoint end user; the marketing/communications professional; and even the reluctant SharePoint adopter.
Whether your IT and communications staff are seasoned pros when it comes to implementing SharePoint, just beginning to roll out SharePoint projects, or just investigating SharePoint and its versatile technology/tools—your organization can surely benefit by being part of this conversation.

This event is free for Capital Area IT Council members, however, there is a $25 fee for non-members (which can be applied toward your organization’s membership dues if you decide to join.)
